Summary:                    [patch] Asterisk leaves lingering UDP ports until no
more ports available
Description: 
After a couple of days with lots of traffic (moderate load), running
"netstat -a" shows hundreds of lingering UDP ports, which eventually
saturates the available handles and asterisk stops accepting media
connections.

This occurs in all 1.4.x versions and versions after 1.2.14. This does not
occur in 1.2.13 and prior versions.
