Summary: Saturated Handles, Socket Error
Description:
We are running Asterisk SVN-branch-1.6.1-r251886 as our production server.
The traffic is not very much, max 20 simutaneous calls.
After every 2-3 weeks, we start getting socket error and calls are unable
to be made and eventually asterisk stops.
When we check file descriptors being used by Asterisk at this time, it
shows > 900, even if active channels are 0.
We think the issue is same as Issue # 0009235 that was solved for version
1.4
So, a similar patch may be needed for this version as well.
