Description: 
Hi all,

I'm sending you patch containing new application app_faxgateway.c
("FaxGateway") which is able to mediate T30 to T38 and vice versa.
Feature is using spands library (I used spandsp-0.0.4pre18 and
spandsp-0.0.5pre4).

Hi! I tested asterisk-1.6.2-faxgw.patch with asterisk-1.6.2.5. Building is
OK, but it does not work. I tried several scenarios but none of them
worked:

SIP(t38pt_udptl=no)--->Asterisk application
FaxGateway-->SIP(t38pt_udptl=yes):
Callee sends reINVITE, after 5 seconds the reINVITE is rejected with 488.

DAHDI--->Asterisk application FaxGateway-->SIP(t38pt_udptl=yes):
Callee sends reINVITE. AST_CONTROL_T38_PARAMETERS(24) is sent to
dahdi_indicate which returns -1 and the DAHDI channel is hangup. After 5
seconds the reINVITE is rejected with 488 followed by a BYE.

Thus is really somebody using on of the above patches sucessfully?
