Summary: Asterisk crashes on startup
Description:
Asterisk 1.6.2.x has been crashing or using %100 randomly. I decided to
compile 1.6.2.9 with DEBUG flags to track down the problem and submit it
here.

The flags are:
[*] DONT_OPTIMIZE
[*] DEBUG_THREADS
[*] LOADABLE_MODULES
[*] DEBUG_FD_LEAKS
[*] DEBUG_CHANNEL_LOCKS
[*] MALLOC_DEBUG

When I run asterisk it core dumps immediately. Please find backtrace
attached
