Summary:                    After the AsteriskNOW 1.7.0 yum update chan_sip and
pbx_config could not initialize
Description: 
Applied AsteriskNow 1.7.0 via yum update. Updated modules in FreePBX as
instructed.

Asterisk is not functional as the dialplan and the SIP configuration fail
to load.

Before stopping Asterisk verified SIP and Dialplan were functional.

Stoped Asterisk by "core stop now"

Ran "amportal restart". Everything ran with no error messages. Came back
to Asterisk CLI, determined the initial problem is back, i.e. no SIP, no
Dialplan.

Screen log is below:

pbx*CLI> core stop now
pbx*CLI>
Disconnected from Asterisk server
[root at pbx sbin]# Asterisk ended with exit status 0
Asterisk shutdown normally.

[root at pbx sbin]# amportal restart



STOPPING ASTERISK

FOP Server Stopped
SETTING FILE PERMISSIONS
Permissions OK

STARTING ASTERISK
Asterisk Started

STARTING FOP SERVER
FOP Server Started
