Description: 
Using asterisk 1.6.1.20, DAHDI Version: 2.3.0.1 and Cent OS 5. Outbound
call hitting a dialplan before called party answers.

Can you please provide information about this issue.

If you have got it to the right level and your telephony supplier is
providing answer supervision, you will be able to see a relevant event when
the call is answered.  If you don't, either they are not providing answer
supervision, or you haven't got enough debugging enabled.  To do what you
want to do, they must provide some form of answer supervision.

I would also check the log from startup, to make sure there are no errors
relating to the line relating to enabling answer supervision.
