Description: 
Asterisk always crashes while execute by cron "core restart when
convenient".
I attached gdb output to that issue.

Well, instead of trying to unwind it all and add checks, the simpler
solution is probably not to close it at all, unless we're executing it from
the console thread.  New patch uploaded.
