Summary: ALSA Channel and MeetMe Conference
Description:
I create a conference with an ALSA channel so that multiple phones can
listen to the audio feed coming into the sound card from the TV. I did this
because ALSA can only seem to handle one call at a time. After about a 1.5
minutes the audio from the ALSA channel drops out, the conference remains
up, but in the CLI the only channel you can see is the DAHDI pseudo
channel. Neither the ALSA channel nor any of the phone SIP channels appear,
yet when I hang up the phones I see all the channels being hung up.

I updated all the glibc packages on Centos 5.4 from glibc-2.5-42.el5_4.3 to
glibc-2.5-49.el5_5.2 and the problem has disappeared.
