Description: 
Hi all,

I'm sending you patch containing new application app_faxgateway.c
("FaxGateway") which is able to mediate T30 to T38 and vice versa.
Feature is using spands library (I used spandsp-0.0.4pre18 and
spandsp-0.0.5pre4).

that's excellent news, it's difficult to understand this patch works
perfectly just by reading these notes, so your note will be very
encouraging for many... i really didnt want to move to callweaver just for
T38.

could you please explain these questions for me and many others in my
shoes:

1) which version of asterisk 1.4 did you use and know this patch works
perfectly on
2) which patch did you use for that version
3) which modifications did need to make to patch
4) how did you setup your dialplan
5) how was your infrastructure setup (ISDN>asterisk(patched)>ATA(T38
relay)>FAX)
