Summary: [regression] Voicemail admin only records .wav and
.gsm, not .WAV greetings/unavailable/temporary messages
Description:
I recently went from 1.4.26.1 to 1.4.29.

This means that if the customer has already recorded his unavailable
messages on an old version (and has the .wav, .WAV and .gsm) and he now
tries to record over it, the .WAV doesn't change and depending on
circumstances the old message may be played back.

This appears to be the same issue as
https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=16560, although with different
symptoms, which was fixed recently. Could you either try SVN 1.4 or the
1.4.30-rc1 release candidate, due to be released today?
