Description: 
Using the /etc/defaults/asterisk file with

VERBOSITY=3

Continues to put all output to the STDOUT

Commenting the setting makes it work as expected.

Nevermind, seems to be a new thing. I have /etc/default/asterisk now after
running make config again.
