going back to 2.1.0.4 and the problem is gone. 

this issue was reported by alecdavid in 0015498 and it is NOT fixed and
should not have been merged into 2.2.0.2.

When I first started getting dropped calls , I was using the latest zaptel
. Now I am using Asterisk 1.4.26.2 and Dahdi Version 2.2.0.2+2.2.0 and
Libpri 1.4.10.1. Only once I changed the actual server hardware did I fix
the HDLC Abort issue. But now I get lots of echo.
