Summary:                    [patch] add possibility to read
Description: 
Currently, with VOLUME() with can only set values with that function.

In some cases, it could be useful to read the existing value.

I think this is superseded by https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=14621.  It
adds the ability to read, along
with the rewrite.  Thoughts?
