i agree with olle and david in this case. giving a small group of whiners
what they want does actually only waste time on resources and will also
open the issue tracker for more "issues" like this one (that will again
block resources).

i disagree with dimas, because i think it was a good idea putting this
into mantis. it reveals the necessity of a decision in this regard. are
such "fixes" welcome, or not?

-1 for the patch, though.
