Summary: Crash after configuring TE420
Description:
I have installed DAHDi drivers, in a Ubuntu 8.10 server, and I rebooted.
Ubuntu reboots just fine and modules are loaded. DAHDI drivers sees
correctly my card as TE420.
Then I ran: dahdi_genconf and it creates /etc/dahdi/system.conf:
# Autogenerated by /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf on Fri May 22 16:46:45 2009
# If you edit this file and execute /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf again,
# your manual changes will be LOST.
# Dahdi Configuration File
#
# This file is parsed by the Dahdi Configurator, dahdi_cfg
#

# Global data

defaultzone	= us

Which seems correct for my card.

When I ran dahdi_cfg then my computer freezes and I need to press the
power button long enough to power off.

After I restart the system, Ubuntu crashes with:
NMI received, reason 2d on CPU 0.

The system hangs, and I need to power off, remove the card from the slot,
and then Ubuntu starts OK.

Tried with acpi=off during boot, also disabled NMI errors in BIOS, but
still I get the same result.

What am I doing wrong here? Should I try another combination of drivers
and Asterisk? By the way, I have Asterisk 1.4.21.1 installed.
