Summary: do hardwire network/cpe for DAHDI BRI cards
Description:
All BRI cards supported by chan_dahdi have a hard-wired NT/TE switching.
Switching from NT to TE mode requires either a hardware jumper or a kernel
module parameter. Thus this information cannot change while the span
exists.
It would thus make sense to only suggest BRI CPE signallings (bri_cpe,
bri_cpe_ptmp) for a TE span and BRI network signallings (bri_net,
bri_net_ptmp[0]) for a NT span.
No patch yet. Potential way to get this information: dahdi_genconf can
provide it. So it is basically a matter of writing an extra module in
Dahdi::Config::Gen to format the information as required. I'd like to know
what information you'd like to have and where.
