Hi all,

I'm sending you patch containing new application app_faxgateway.c
("FaxGateway") which is able to mediate T30 to T38 and vice versa.
Feature is using spands library (I used spandsp-0.0.4pre18 and
spandsp-0.0.5pre4).

Hello peple,
I've successfully tested asterisk-1.4.20.1_t38_v4.2.diff patch on 1.4.21.2
with spandsp_0.0.6pre7

My scenario:

E1 <-> 5350XM <-> g/711 passthrough only <-> * 1.4.21.2 711/t.38 <->
nsgate 3522 (2-port fxs device)

Voice/faxes going without any problems in both directions. Thanks for a
great work!



The problem is in lack of Dial() options support, like tTM .... imho the
easiest way to use this in production _at the moment_ is the following:

E1/g711uplink <-> *1.4+faxgw with simple FaxGateway() dialplan <>
* 1.4/1.6 with fax passthru patch and pbx/virtual pbx diaplans <> client
devices with t.38 switchover support
