Summary: Call to a FXS DAHDI channel with Panasonic KX-TG4000
connected drops in 8 seconds randomly
Description:
More often than not a call placed to a DAHDI channel with Panasonic
KX-TG4000 connected would drop on its own in exactly 8 seconds after being
answered. Before being disconnected two (2) clicks are being heard in
succession. The second click kills the connection.

Alec,
It is an old generic TDM400P. I believe the 6 second click you noticed is
in fact my click https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=1, then in 2 seconds it
happens again and DAHDI
interprets the sequence or whatever signaling is behind what we hear as
clicks as a hangup request or something of that nature.
The version of DAHDI I use is 2.1.0.4, all modules are dated May 11, 2009,
came through yum on AsteriskNOW 1.5/CentOS release 5.3 (Final). Do you
think the patch you mentioned is included?
If you can provide me with another version of relevant binaries compatible
with my installation I will gladly test them in relationship to the symptom
discussed.
Thank you,
Vladimir
