Summary:                    gmake of menuconfig fails
Description: 
After a successfull ./configure I try 

bash-3.00# gmake menuselect

Do you have the 'ar' utility installed on your system? It appears that it
is not being found properly by the configure script but there is no error
being generated since mxml within menuselect requires it.
