Summary:                    CLI hang and unresponsive when issuing "show
channels" or "core show channels"
Description: 
Asterisk CLI becomes un-responsive after issuing "show channels" or "core
show channels". The issue is exhibited on Asterisk 1.4.22 release. The
issue had also been exhibited with using versions 1.4.21.X and 1.4.20.

Status Report on the deployed patch (10/01/2008 - 22:44 GMT+2)

It's now been 17 hours into operations, and the deadlock hadn't been
observed again. It would appear that the patch solved it. Let's monitor for
another 48 hours and see if all is well.
