Hi there,
Im posting this message because of an unsolving problem on compiling
asterisk 1.2.31 on PA RISC Architecture
(Please excuse my English, Im French and I will for sure do some mistakes
:-) )
All necesseray dependencies are installed on my debian 5.0 Lenny HPPA. When
Im doing a make, I have a error message telling me that cc1 doesnt
recognize the command line option -march=parisc. The exact message is :
make[1]: codec_gsm.o: Timestamp out of range; substituting 1970-01-01
01:00:00
make -C gsm lib/libgsm.a
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/tmp/asterisk-1.2.31/codecs/gsm'
make[2]: Current time: Timestamp out of range; substituting 1970-01-01

make[2]: Warning: File `Makefile' has modification time 1.2e+09 s in the
future
if [ ! -d ./lib ] ; then mkdir ./lib ; fi
make[2]: lib: Timestamp out of range; substituting 1970-01-01 01:00:00
gcc -pipe -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes
-Wmissing-declarations -g3 -Iinclude -I../include -D_REENTRANT
-D_GNU_SOURCE -O6 -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC -c
-DNeedFunctionPrototypes=1 -funroll-loops -O6 -march=parisc -fPIC -DSASR
-DNDEBUG -DWAV49 -I./inc src/add.c
cc1: error: unrecognized command line option "-march=parisc"
make[2]: *** [src/add.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/tmp/asterisk-1.2.31/codecs/gsm'
make[1]: *** [gsm/lib/libgsm.a] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/tmp/asterisk-1.2.31/codecs'
make: *** [subdirs] Error 1
I tried to search a solution on existing posts but didnt find any solution.
( The compilation is a success with the same parameters on a X86 debian
distribution)
If somebody could help me please.
