Summary:                    dahdi show channels does not show an outgoing call
Description: 
I do not know if this is working as designed, but I would guess it's just
been tolerated.

dahdi show channels will show a table of all dahdi channels, along with an
extension if in use.  I am using a TE420B as a PRI CPE.

For an incoming calls, in the extension column, I'll see the called DID. 
But when I dial with Dial(DADHI/...) I do not see the extension, which I
would imagine should contain the dialed number.

If there is a reason for this and is WAD, please close this, but I am
hoping this isn't the desired behavior.

Any chance you can provide a patch, or have someone else provide a patch?
This is technically a feature request without a patch, which should be
closed, but I'm going to at least ask as this may be a trivial patch you
could request from the asterisk-dev mailing list.
