going back to 2.1.0.4 and the problem is gone. 

this issue was reported by alecdavid in 0015498 and it is NOT fixed and
should not have been merged into 2.2.0.2.

isaacgal:  Something is not right.  If you're using DAHDI version 2.2.0.2,
you should see the VPM firmware version 1.17.

Could you reinstall 2.2.0.2, power off your computer, power it back on,
and then post the dmesg output from when the drivers have loaded?
