going back to 2.1.0.4 and the problem is gone. 

this issue was reported by alecdavid in 0015498 and it is NOT fixed and
should not have been merged into 2.2.0.2.

hope it helps, i know it is an issue with 2.2.0.2 since going back to
2.1.0.4 with the exact same hardware totaly eliminate the problem and the
symptoms.
