[asterisk-bugs] Asterisk hogging 100% CPU

Hello!

I'm new to this list, but I'm having an urgent problem and not much 
time, so excuse me if I'm doing anything wrong - I'm still a (relative) 
asterisk newbie.
We started having this problem after we upgraded to 1.4.21.2~dfsg-3 
(Debian version). It was happening on stock 1.4.18 too, but less frequently.
Now we're getting VoIP outages every couple of hours and we can't seem 
to pinpoint the problem.

The problem is (more or less) common: asterisk starts to hog 100% of the 
CPU power and then the system becomes unresponsive.
I managed to renice Asterisk and capture a gdb backtrace, which I'm 
attaching here.

Any thoughts?
