Summary: [patch] Support for called_party_subaddr, currently
only calling_party_subaddr is supported
Description:
Looking at q931.c it only has dump_called_party_subaddr
it's missing receive_called_party_subaddr, transmit_called_party_subaddr,
and associated pri_call changes. Maybe more...

The Telecom Specs in NZ suggests that SUB ADDRESS is always on, so doing
"desk to desk" between offices each with an asterisk box over the ISDN
should then be possible, without a whole load of DDI numbers required.

Is there any work beinging done for this?

Regarding libpri-subaddress.diff3.txt chan_dahdi-subaddress.diff3.txt
these should be able to be committed to branches 1.4 through to 1.6.2, as
it completes the minimal SUBaddr support which was never finished, without
adding significant functionality changes.

A new bug, to implement SUBaddress functionality (calling, called,
redirecting) needs to be started to apply to Trunk (1.6.3), deprecating the
channel variable techniques, as have already happened with ${CALLERIDNAME}
and ${CALLERIDNUM}.

This enhanced functionality would if I understand Richard correctly be
like;
  CALLERID(subaddr) = set/read the CallingSubAddr
  CONNECTEDLINE(subaddr) = set/read the CalledSubAddr
  REDIRECTING(subaddr) = set/read the RedirectingSubAddr
