Description: 
Please provide information on where I can find information about changes on
the branch revisions as it was possible with the SVN web view.
As for I cannot find any information what issues are addressed or what
features are added in the revisions, it is always a shrewd adventure how
Asterisk will behave after the upgrade.

You misunderstood what davidw said.  You can view the ChangeLog file in an
svn checkout of the tag.
