some modules can't be loaded
compiled with

tilghman: That is okay, uploaded the patch file for completeness.  We will
have to deal with some warning errors as res_smdi loads with no interfaces
and some may have this module on a noload in the config (1 server of mine),
but it should work.

Are you going to apply this to the branches?
