That works. I reloaded a fresh copy of Centos 5.2 and tried to duplicate
again. I got this instead. 
[root at home asterisk-addons]# make menuselect
**************************************************
*** Install ncurses to use the menu interface! ***
**************************************************
menuselect changes NOT saved!

If i run make cmenuselect it works.
