Is this still an issue on the latest version of Asterisk 1.4.x? There
appears to be fixes for several bugs, one of which is this one that is
still open with no update for a long time.

If you are still getting crashes, please attach a new backtrace with the
DONT_OPTIMIZE flag enabled in menuselect. I will leave this open for a
couple of weeks before closing. Thanks!
