Summary: [patch] 1.6.1 beta2 does not build on PPC
Description:
1.6.1 beta 2 does not build on PPC:
1) glibc on PPC does not have <sys/io.h>. It doesn't even seem necessary
on other platforms.
2) A section of code inside a #ifdef PPC was missing a variable
declararion.
Patches will be attached.

app_rpt uses ioperm, which comes from glibc sys/io.h on my system, anyway.
might check that you have app_rpt set to build as by default it is
unchecked on the other platforms you test against.
