Summary: Asterisk Allocates 3,1 GB of memory
Description:
I have a server that is running trixbox and is allocating 3,1 gb of ram for
the asterisk process, this is killing my server, I end up rebooting the
server every other day to work around the issue

The information you've provided is quite lacking.
Can you show/explain how you came to this estimate? Also, in order to
find where the problem might be, you'll need to recompile Asterisk with
MALLOC_DEBUG and get the output of memory show allocations and memory show
summary.
