For those still suffering from this issue, please see my latest note
(http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=10342#86648) on issue
http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=10342 and try using the configure.patch on
that issue.
When I applied it, I no longer had the console disconnect.
