Description: 
My asterisk installation initiates about 3 SIP sessions per second, it can
run for a few hours without crashing, but it does crash at least once a
day.

grant, could you do me a favor -- set session-timers=refuse in your
sip.conf at the global level and rerun your tests and let us know what
happens.
