Actually, looking at 'core show settings' I noticed:
Entity ID:                   00:00:00:00:00:00

Looks like it's not set.

asterisk*CLI> core show version

The only modification I have is in chan_skinny where I disabled the
warning output when not enough data is received

The system is a xen instance running Debian stable.
