aks, if you haven't already, you should contact Digium technical support
who would be happy to help you with this issue.  I do not believe the
problem you are seeing is with race conditions in the driver since PCI
parity errors are indicative of a problem with the parity of a specific PCI
transaction.  Memory barriers are about ensuring multiple transactions are
ordered correctly for the device.
