on a box running kernel 2.6.13.1 zaptel is installed as follows:

cd zaptel
make clean
make linux26
make install
depmod -a
modprobe zaptel
modprobe ztdummy

FATAL: Error inserting ztdummy (/lib/modules/2.6.13.1/misc/ztdummy.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
FATAL: Error running install command for ztdummy
