Summary:                    99% cpu with 'logger rotate'
Description: 
In issue 13085 Corydon76 pointed out the 'logger rotate' command.  However
using 1.6.0-beta9, we're unable to get it to work properly.  It locks up
our cli and spikes the CPU to 99%.
