Description: 
I have exactly the same problem with FreeBSD 6.3 sparc64 and Asterisk
1.4.17 as described in case with bug 10300. The describe workaround also
solves the issue for me.

For some reason, the use of this strdupa() is leading to memory corruption
on
freebsd sparc64.  This trivial workaround fixes it.
