Zaptel don't send DTMF tones correctly on FXO lines. For instance when
trying to dial out a number.

Hmm... I don't really understand those traces.

Can you try to add more verbosity so the dialing will be included?

At what time exactly in the trace is the number being dialed? The EC is
only off at 19:53:03, a bit before the hangup.
