Summary: ChanSPY beep continually when there are not active
calls.
Description:
app_chanspy.c loops, using 'waitfordigit(waitms)' between beeps. waitms
defaults to 100ms
Previous versions (pre 1.4.13?) had about 5000ms.

Give this little patch a try.
It still will play a "beep" when you start at or get back to the beginning
of a potential list of channels to spy on. However, if you're sitting in a
loop with no channels, it will only beep at you once.
