Summary: REGRESSION: DTMF generation problem
Description:
Zaptel don't send DTMF tones correctly on FXO lines. For instance when
trying to dial out a number.

I am also experiencing this issue. I'll add my observations in case they
are of any use:

H/W: TDM400 (wctdm)
Zaptel: 1.4.8 / svn 1.4 branch
Asterisk: svn 1.4 branch

DTMF dialing tones are generated and output on the PSTN line; however, the
remote switch is unable to recognise the generated DTMF. We are using 64
bit hardware if this is of any significance (someone has suggested this in
the past). The behaviour is highly consistent (very, very, occasionally it
works correctly). I am using opermode=NEWZEALAND and
loadzone/defaultzone=nz.

Is there any that I can do to be off assistance in rectifying this fault
(bearing in mind that I am not a C programmer)?

Is there any indication of a likely time-frame to resolution? I noticed
one-day suggested around a month ago.

Many thanks,
Patrick Brennan
