Hi,

when a call is being passed over from AS5400 via PRI to SIP into asterisk,
dtmf is working in 1.4.11 but not on 1.4.17

I'm glad my patch fixes your case too.

As of its status - I think it is pretty much finished for a quick fix.

Speaking about long-term solution... Well, to me the DTMF post-processing
code in ast_read look way too complex and prone to errors. Sinse there are
more issues in this code (see 11911), I'm going to rewrite it completely
and offer a patch for review. But that is another story - I do not think
such a patch can be applied to stable 1.4, only trunk...
