Hi all,

I'm sending you patch containing new application app_faxgateway.c
("FaxGateway") which is able to mediate T30 to T38 and vice versa.
Feature is using spands library (I used spandsp-0.0.4pre18 and
spandsp-0.0.5pre4).

Hi,

about the dummy packet: I see that we need some more complex solution.
What about sending dummy "No signal" packets every defined time until we
get the first response from the other side ?

about jitter buffer and spoofing: To be honest I have no idea, whole
gatewaying logic is stored inside spandsp.
I'm solving issues as they appear during testing and until now I didn't
have such problem. So if they appear and my cutomer complains I will solve
them and I will share.
