I've probably come back to this issue 15 times since it was assigned to me
and I still cannot see a reasonable explanation for why a channel's
generatordata would be non-NULL but the channel's generator would be NULL.
If this issue is still happening with the latest subversion checkout of
1.4, it would be helpful to see a debug trace of this problem since I'm
having a lot of difficulty figuring out how this can be happening. Thanks.
