After a clean checkout, ./configure and make svn st gives me:
~/dev/personal/asterisk/asterisk-trunk% svn st
X      menuselect
?      utils/utils.c
?      utils/sha1.c
?      utils/astobj2.c
?      utils/hashtest2

Performing status on external item at 'menuselect'
X      menuselect/mxml

Performing status on external item at 'menuselect/mxml'

I think those files should be added to the svn:ignore prop.
