We know that this problem

chan_sip.c:7410 determine_firstline_parts: Bad request protocol Packet

was already discussed few times in the bugtraker and that the answer is
that's not an Asterisk related problem (OEJ in bug 9086 or 7261).

However, we have few Asterisk servers with 1.2, 1.4 and trunk version. The
1.2 has NOT this warnings as the both latest have, so we are wondering
why.

That's because this warning was only added to 1.4 and trunk.  The same code
(minus the warning) does exist in 1.2.
