Summary:                    Voicemail Option "Send messages by e-mail only"
ignored
Description: 
Setting the Voicemail option "Send messages by e-mail only" is ignored.
Messages are delivered via email but also held within Comedian VM and the
handsets MWI reports VM are awaiting collection.

Enterring into Comedian VM, confirms VMs are held.

I agree the deletevoicemail=yes option is for this exact purpose (as per
the comments in the sample config file), but I'm yet to see it actually
work.  The option seems to be completely ignored. Mail is still stored
within Comedian Mail and the MWI is lit on the handset, even after this
option is set and Asterisk fully restarted.

After reading the comments again, can this option be specified in the
[general] section?

This is what is commented in the voicemail.conf

; delete=yes            ; After notification, the voicemail is deleted
from the server. [per-mailbox only]
;     This is intended for use with users who wish to receive their
;     voicemail ONLY by email. Note:  "deletevoicemail" is provided as an
;     equivalent option for Realtime configuration.
