[asterisk-bugs] intel 965 chipset compatibility issue

As I`ve read there is a compatibility issue with some linux Kernel  
versions and the one that is packed with the asterisk now  
distribution seems to be one of them. When I try to install  
asterisknow from an iso in my intel 965 core 2 pc Cd  the disk booth  
well  but once the rpath is running the instaler could no longer  
recognize the cd reader and ask for a driver. Anyone can give me an  
alternative instal metod, from a pen drive for example? or have a  
good idea of wich driver should i search. It is planned to actualize  
the linux kernel on asterisk now ( when I`ve tried to instal Ubunto  
in the same machine it works pretty well)
