Hello!
I'm new in this list, so please be patient! :)
Here is my problem:
I'm running an Asterisk 1.2.14 + OpenSER 1.0.0 SIP VoIP server, with a
lot of users. Some of them have a common problem:
After exactly 20 seconds the call is established (after called part
replied), my asterisk server stops sending voice to the caller, the call
is terminated and the CDR record is updated correctly. But the caller
and the callee never request hang-up (never send BYE and never terminate
the connection).
I know there's a limit of silence (20 secs) on which my Asterisk hangs
up, but:
* using Wireshark on my server, I've sniffed all traffic to/from the
caller's IP, tracing a call, and analyzing such traffic, results that my
server regularly receives RTP packets from the caller also after call
hangup, with good voice into;
* after 20 seconds, my Asterisk server resends some caller's RTP
packets received via ICMP packets to the caller's IP (saying
"destination port unreachable"), maybe because asterisk has already shut
down it's socket... But why asterisk is shutting down his socket?
Performing some statistics, I've found some other users having the same
problem too. Some of them have had it for a limited amount of time, some
others still have it. The problem also does not depend on UAs or
Internet connection provider. And it happens only to some users, while
all the others have no problems...
My Asterisk does transcoding, but the problem happens also with G.711u
=> Zap calls...
Any idea?
Thanks in advance for your help! :)
Yours,
Dmitri S.
